Money is laundering

“The moral flabbiness born of the exclusive worship
of the bitch-goddess SUCCESS.
That – with the squalid cash interpretation put on the word ‘success’ –
is our national disease.” ― William James

In a pseudo-Jamesian fantasy, Love and Respect labor under the illusion that cash value is a stain on their success when, in fact, it is a pattern woven in.

The definition of laundering, when referring to money, is to clean the cash of association with one conceptual domain preparing it for use with another. As “clean,” money is portable and transferable; it is the measure of success. It is the end not the means.
